Programming

I have a long and deep interest in computer programming, both because of what I can accomplish with it, and for the sheer artistry of it. I've been developing computer programs since about 1976, professionally since 1985. I've worked with many, many different programming languages, operating systems, and hardware. I've written accounting programs, communication interfaces, graphics programs, interfaces to odd devices and programmabale controls, you name it. For the last four years, I've worked at Choice Technologies, Inc. developing dispacth and delivery tracking software for trucking companies. Most of my (current) professional work involves Microsoft .NET Windows applications, plus I do a little ASP.NET coding for our company web site.

Cooking

I love to cook, the fancier and bigger the feast, the better. I also love to eat, which I don't get to indulge as much as I'd like, because of health issues. One of my favorite things to do is to go into a kitchen where someone has said, "There's nothing to eat," and come out with a complete meal from whatever's available.
